MWL Premier Player Picked Monday, May 25th , 2026 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that El Paso's Jake Gelof put up last week were the envy of the league, as Gelof came away with Midwest League Player of the Week honors. He belted out 12 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs and 10 RBIs last week as he posted his .444 batting average. Currently Gelof is batting .340 with 14 home runs, 40 RBIs and 32 runs scored. |
