Tuesday, May 12th , 2026
Doctors in Lakewood said Jay Driver might not play anymore this year. The Legends reliever suffered a torn rotator cuff during a game against the Annapolis Argonauts and will be out for at least 5 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season.
Driver has taken the mound for 9 relief appearances this season, nailing down 6 saves while notching a 0-2 record with a 5.62 ERA. The Lakewood reliever has limited opposing batters to a .294 batting average.
