Paulson 5-for-5 for Lexington Saturday, May 23rd , 2026 It was a good day for the Bluegrass at Bluegrass Stadium as they clipped the Columbus River Rats, 11-7. It was tremendous day for Dillon Paulson, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 5-for-5. "I don't know what to call that," the Lexington first baseman told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well." Dillon Paulson singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Stiven Cruz in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Donovan Benoit in the 8th. Thus far in 2026, Paulson is hitting .361 with 8 home runs, 29 RBIs, 32 runs scored and has compiled a .477 OBP. View Boxscore |
