Bell Strokes 5 Hits Friday, July 24th , 2026 Chad Bell had an answer for everything the Annapolis Argonauts threw at him at Augusta Grounds. The Augusta first baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Greenjackets a win, 10-6. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Bell said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Chad Bell singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Christian Foutch in the 8th.
