Hit Streak Now at 20 for Encarnacion Monday, July 27th , 2026 The number just keeps getting higher. Lexington left fielder Yamal Encarnacion has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the Lexington won the game, 7-6, over the Lake Placid Gators at Gators Ballpark. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Lake Placid manager said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Yamal Encarnacion walked in the 1st, flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. For the season, Encarnacion is hitting at a .368 clip with 10 home runs, 39 RBIs and has scored 63 runs. He has 109 hits, 36 walks and a .435 on-base percentage. |
