5-Hit Blitz by Medicine Hat's Lovich Wednesday, August 26th , 2026 The Medicine Hat Homers stopped the Missoula Toros by a score of 23-3 at Toros Stadium, with the lion's share of the credit going to right fielder Eli Lovich. The 21-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Lovich said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Lovich did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Toros. "Not much that I can say," offered Missoula manager . "He just hammered the heck out of us." Eli Lovich doubled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Anyer Laureano in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
