Marte Earns Pio Top Pitcher Trophy Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 Banff's Sabier Marte hated to see August end. It was one of the single greatest months the reliever has posted, and the 22-year-old reliever did so well that he garnered enough votes for the Pioneer League Pitcher of the Month trophy. Marte held the opposition to a .168 batting average in no relief appearances. He worked 29 innings, collected no saves, sat down 42 on strikes and posted a 4-0 record and a 2.17 ERA.
